Denied Firearms Transactions

During the 2017 Regular Session, the Washington State Legislature enacted SHB 1501, an act relating to protecting law enforcement and the public from persons who illegally attempt to obtain firearms. WASPC encourages all interested parties to read the bill in its entirety.

System Enhancements Coming Soon 

At WASPC, we are continually working to make the reporting of denied firearms transactions less cumbersome to our FFL partners. As a part of that effort, we are changing the login process for submitting denied transactions. By implementing the changes to the login process, we are enhancing the reporting functionality in a way we hope you will appreciate.

  • Your information will auto-populate once you login. You will not have to enter your address and phone information for each transaction.
  • You will be able to run reports to identify the transactions that have been reported to our office by your store/shop in the last 90 days.
  • We are providing a quick reference directory of local law enforcement agencies. The directory will include the agency name, address, phone and main fax number.

To implement these features, WASPC will begin utilizing the enhanced login system on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. To access the enhanced reporting login, you will continue to use where you will select the new "FFL Access" menu option to login. Your login credentials for the enhanced system are being mailed on February 16, 2019.
